The Norotos INVG Hyper Night Vision Goggle Mount has a single tri-lobe mount arm that pivots on its own axis preventing from binding under pressure, it can rotate on its own axis, allowing a monocular to easily pivot from one eye to the other. It also allows goggles to be stowed in a lower profile than with traditional mounts; when the goggle is flipped up in stow position, it can then be rotated again back towards the helmet, preventing the NVG from protruding and reducing the risk of snag hazards and accidental damage to the goggle.
The INVG Hyper uses a force-to-overcome stow mechanism so it can be easily and quickly flipped up and down.The breakaway feature allows the user to set the mount to either locked or breakaway mode, when locked, the mount will not will come loose from the shroud without pushing the release button. In breakaway mode, the mount will release from the shroud under a user-specified amount of force. The field-changeable interface system that allows operators to switch between the standard bayonet horn and dovetail interface. It comes with the Dovetail Interface (compatible with the PVS-15/18/31) the Horn Interface is available in addition to the dovetail mount and is compatible with the PVS-7B/7D and PVS-14.
MOUNT INTERFACE OPTIONS: Dovetail Interface (standard) comes with the mount and is compatible with the PVS-15/18/31 and BNVD-G. Or, add the Horn mount adapter (in addition to the standard dove tail) the Horn adapter is compatible with the PVS-7B/7D and PVS-14.
